So, you need senior pictures and you're sifting through the one million photographer choices out there. Maybe your friend told you about me. Well, thanks for listening to your friend and checking me out. 

I'm sure by now you have looked at all the beautiful images on this site and you want to know a little something more about the person behind the camera. Why should you chose me to be your photographer? What are my qualifications and all that technical stuff?

Let's get started... This is me - here I am in all my glory! As the pictures should tell you, I don't take myself too seriously. I'm usually pretty casual, but I love to talk about makeup and fashion and shoes... and shoes... Did I say shoes yet? I also love to talk about my dog, music, hiking, natural wonders, fishing, good things to eat, and cold drinks. I especially like to talk about you. 

Not going to lie, it will be easier to tell you more about me in person but if you aren't ready for that step yet... Let's give this a shot.

When I was seventeen years old, I decided I wanted to be a photographer. I went to college at the University of Southern Mississippi and received a BS degree in photojournalism.  That was thirty-something years ago, and I still haven't changed my mind... I still want to be a photographer when I grow up. Plain and simple, photography brings me great happiness. It is my thing.

After being behind the camera one way or another for over thirty years, I decided that high school seniors were my favorite to photograph.  Nature photography brings me peace and clarity, but portrait photography, especially senior photography, gives me joy. I guess it's the age group. I really care about you, what you have to say, and your dreams for the future. I want to come up with a plan for a session that tells your story. This is about you, after all.
